Dear Parent/Guardian,
Philipsburg-Osceola Area School District is excited to begin a new one to one (1:1) laptop program for students enrolled in 6ththrough 12thgrade for the current school year. Every student in 6ththrough 12th grade will be assigned a Chromebook and an carrying case.
The goal of the 1:1 program at POASD is to create a learning environment that is consistent with advances in technology and facilitates resource sharing, critical thinking, responsibility, innovation, research, creativity, communication, collaboration, increased productivity and mobile learning.
Our district mission for the one to one (1:1) technology initiative is just the next step to ensure our students have the access to technology and learning that keeps them “Educating today …… responsible citizens tomorrow.”
